The day from hell. Carole here.
Pete is off somewhere in WIsconsin.
To start off, all weekend I was laid up with my back.
Monday, I had to hobble to the car , take Pete to his truck, and pick up my son for his second surgery.
That went well but after he went under, I had to call someone else to pick him up and take him home, because I had to head for the ER, close to my home.
The pain was unbearable. Go to the ER, not only is my back out, but I have a bad kidney infection, got a shot and prescription and head to the drugstore.
Get in CVS, the line is long, sit and wait, Can`t give me the narcotics for pain, Fine, just give me the Bactrim for infection. Standing in line was a policeman.
I get out to my car, it won`t start. The policeman is parked next to me, heres me crying, saw how much pain I was in and drove me home. An Angel.
Get home, lay down and my daughters boyfriend in Florida calls me because my daughter is leaving him,
Great. The guy has a lot of drug issues.
So, because I said that to him, he precedes to call me 10 times that night. By then I am ready to kill him or anyone that comes across me at that point. LOL
Today, ask my neighbor to take me to the car to see if it will start or if I have to call a tow truck to take it to get if fixed. It started, I brought it home and it can stay there till MR PETER gets home.
I told him last week it was acting up and needs a tune up , so now I guess he believes me. MEN. LOL
On a bright note: ................................................................................................................................................I am still trying to think of one.................................................................................................................OH, the weather is beautiful, but I can`t enjoy it, LOL
Back to doc tomorrow and someone better figure out what is wrong with my back before I commit hari kari.

Well, after all that... I`m sure not going to be the one to tell you "perk up... things will get better... life is good... tra la la la la !!!!" Sometimes that`s all bullshit, and I think you`ve just earned the right to say "life sucks !!!!"
However... it sure will be much better when you get all that mess behind you and things get nice again... and they will. You`re an exceptionally nice person and you`re just going through a really bad spell.
When my back gets the worst (herniated disc pinches nerve and can`t walk) I get a steroid spinal shot. It sounds awful, but it really helps. I go to a good Neurologist just for my back. Pain`s always there but mostly managable. Hope you get that straightened out, cause I know nothing`s right when your back`s out.

Oh dear, there is not much to say except WOW, I feel so bad for you! Thank goodness you are woman...a man could never handle that kind of day (no offense guys), lol. I sure hope you feel better soon. Hope your son made out ok too.

Thanks, I am feeling much better today. Pete should be home friday or saturday. I will leave the laundry for him. LOL

hummm I don`t know about that dab,I got real sick last Thursday at 2 am,was in terrible pain for 6 hours waiting for heidi to get home.When she did,went to the ER,had gall stone surgery on Friday,then had my gall bladder removed on Saturday.When you factor in the IV`s,blood drawn,mri,ct scans, having my gall bladder pulled out through my belly button,no sleep for four nights,because nurses constantly doing some kind of test,vital signs,ect. I think I can handle a bad day.lol! I`m so sorry to hear about your back, Carole,I hope you are better,tell Pete I said hi. cob

OMG cob, I had that happen to me too. Woke up one morning with a terrible gut ache and as long as I stood up with my arms up it didn`t hurt. Went to ER and yep had to have the old gall bladder out. They did it outpatient and I had to sleep sitting up for 5 days it was so horrible. Now I have bullet holes where they pulled it out. I can sure commiserate with you. That is miserable. Take care.

thanks Carole,good to know I ain`t the only one,lmao!
I wish they had done mine out patient,I was in for four days..of course I had two surgerys,Fri. &Sat. I guess that is why I had to stay. But I am sooo glad to have it over with. I can`t wait to get my ,what Heidi calls, "my sports dolls" lol Take care of your self and Pete ((huggzz))
