Replies: 5 littlebit | Is this just news to me??
Hi all, don't know if I'm just behind the times because of having little time lately to get in here and read but I double checked to make sure I'd read all the gambling news reports and didn't see anything so here's my comment/question... the day before yesterday my g-friend down the street got note from Lasseter's (probably not spelled right and I'm too lazy to check it out) giving her notification that they are closing their online casino due in part to the loss of "US online gaming rights" and subsequent loss of revenue.
So... is this old news and I'm just to far out of the loop or is this new.. news (since they are one of "our" recommended casinos)
would appreciate any info or direction on where to read about this thanks all and "happy gaming"!!!

Replies: 2 dodgyr | Patience is a virtue for some..... For online Gamblers, it's a must!
Unfortunately, most Gamblers are impulsive and patience is rarely the norm. I've been playing online since 2000 and I have had accounts with just about every casino you can think of. I too have lost more bonus money than I care to admit, because I assumed, rather than: I had known.
Having no one to blame but myself, here’s what I’ve learned:
1. Each casino has their own rules and in order to eliminate the potential problems, (Born in the assuming nature.) you must take at least 30 minutes prior to play, to read all the terms/rules for banking and promotional play. Read the banking procedures for depositing and know the requirements for withdrawal.
2. Make sure you completely understand how to follow the promotional rules, know how-what-when and or where, the things you need to do, in order to claim your bonus. Treat every promotion as if it was the 1st time you’ve played it. (Always!)
3. If you deposit and play prior to having done this, you’re needlessly throwing away your rights to any potential win. It’s a lot like driving without a license. But in this instance, the traffic cop is a banker. Show up without your license, and your ticket to ride is over. There’s little doubt in your impending disappointment and no one to blame but yourself.
4. Most bonus "Chips" are NOT cashable. Even if you make play through. So don't assume they are. Or for that matter, don't assume anything. Never pull the finger of a support agent until you know for certain it’s you’re right to do so! Even then, be prepared for the potential in a back draft. What you’re saying, might not be what their seeing on their computer.
5. Computers and people, both make mistakes. Here is the key to getting resolution to anything: Good communication, supported with proper documentation. So keep copies of everything! Including chat logs, emails, promotions details, etc. And keep them forever!
6. If you like a casino and intend to play there, or if you have any reason to believe you might cash out, email all the required documentation to their support, prior to making the request. (Sooner the better.) Including: Recent Utility bill, Drivers lic. Credit cards etc., plus any required fax back forms, usually found within the withdrawal terms.
7. Having provided your withdrawal information, prior to any withdrawal, allows any transaction to happen smoothly. But is no guarantee to that end. Especially if it's a 1st time withdrawal. So expect delays, and requests for additional information. And be willing to provide what's needed. Most casinos are flexible about documentation. If you don’t have a utility bill, send a copy of your bank statement. Simply scan a copy, black out or erase the balance(s) and or payments to everyone but that particular casino. (If any.) It’s not an audit! It’s simply proof of who you say you are.
8. When dealing with support, don't be an ass about anything. Be up front, courteous and understanding to those whom you deal with. You'll get farther in being nice, than you will when being angry or abusive. (Duh!)
9. Most of all: Be patient! (I know it sucks, but it's an absolute must!) If you don’t have the patience to wait for your money, then drive to Las Vegas! The trade off for instant gambling online, verses driving to Las Vegas is having to wait for withdrawals. The time you're saving, not having had to drive to Las Vegas, is getting transferred to your cash out process. (Simply because you’re not standing in front of them, with picture ID.)
10. No matter how good a casinos reputation is, they are prone to screw ups, just like you. Misunderstandings are a part of life. Especially across global frontiers. So give the support staff a break. Better still: Give them respect, understanding, praise and thanks, for their time and effort. It's an absolute must, if you want cooperation in anything you're asking them to do for you.
Following these guidelines, has allowed me to cash out more often, with less hassle, and I actually get my money! (From any and all casinos that I play at.) If you do likewise; you probably won't need to be in here, upset, about not getting what you expected.
Best of luck!
Cz
P.S. There’s a lot to be said for the power of GoneGambling! Membership has it’s privileges, so use them! (Before taking any dispute to another level.) It works! Just having mentioned that I was a GG member, (Without using a threatening tone.) has changed the situation completely. I often get reconsideration, and credit, even when I’m at fault! Now how sweet is that?
(Many thanks to John and the GoneGambling support team!)

Replies: 3 Jas2587 | Cashout at Platinum Play
I am new to online gambling so I am not sure how everything works, so I thought I would post here and see if this is normal.
I opened a account at Platinum Play through the GG auction. I played and was able to do a cashout on the 3rd of May, I deposited through my Instadebit account and withdrew to Instadebit. The withdrawal email I received stated there would be a 8 day hold but it has now been 12 days. It didnt take them very long to get there money from me. LOL I emailed them and they said everything is fine should be processed shortly, whatever shortly means. That was two days ago.
I am posting to see if others have this problem with this casino is it always like this with online casinos? Thanks for you input. I was thinking it was probaly since I am a new player I would hope it wouldnt always take so long.
Tammy18
Now the 18th of May which now makes it 15 days (10 Buiseness days) since my cashout to Instadebit from PP it is a weekend so I wouldn`t expect anything untill at least Monday. I at least found out that this is not the way all online casinos work since I did a Cashout on Friday from Lasseters and I got up this morning a Sunday no less to find my funds in my Instadebit account. That is more than I expected from any casino way to go Lasseters. I think I will stick with them from now on.
UPDATE It all worked out fine. I think it probaly took a week longer than they said it would since I was new to the casino and being my first cashout also the fact that it was over 1000 may have been a factor. ty Cindy for your input

Replies: 1 vinylwm | Dont open accounts at UK casino Club - rip off!
I opened an account at UK casino club (after reading all the terms and conditions), deposited £100 then waited for my 50% bonus to be credited. They refused saying that i had already had a sign up bonus at one of their other casinos.
I had checked their site very carefully to see if they had other casinos linked to them but there was no mention anywhere of other casinos. I had not heard of UK Casino Club until I joined Gonegambling a week ago.
It appears I had opened an account at a linked casino a year and a half ago which if I had known was linked to them then i would not have opened the account. I do not have much money so am quite careful where I spend it
When I complained I was told that I should have noticed that the Golden Reef site (which I had briefly used a year and a half ago) had the same logo as the UK Casino Club. How many people look at all casino websites when opening a new account? There was nothing on their site to say they were linked to any other casinos.
Their customer support was dreadful - like talking to a brick wall who only had a few stock phrases to use and couldnt think for themselves. Well they have lost a potential good customer and I hope this will put others off from using their casino in the future.
A very disappointed karen

Stay away. I received a snail mail invitation for $125 bonus that turned out to be match bonus. The letter states"reasonable bonus terms apply". There are no restrictions on the letter or easily available on the site. When I went to cash out I was told the playthrough was a "Reasonable" 100 times bonus and deposit because I played video poker! ! I have played on RealTime gaming sites for years and never saw such a thing. This last year I have been denied multiple jackpots on RealTime gaming due to bonus(unspecified) violations.Shame on RealTIme gaming.
