Tacky Tropica Terms

I could have won a lot more, but the max payout was $2,000 for a $1 bet on any one spin. This rule sucks, but was very surprised & thrilled with the win.

Never heard that rule before; that does suck. Which casino...if it was Tropica, I'm not surprised at all...you literally need a lawyer to go over their terms and conditions. I "won" over $5K a couple of times only to "be in violation of terms" so never got a dime.

Glad you got that nice win though..the screen shot is still nice to look at!!

Continued good luck,

No, it was Jackpot Capital. I just looked at Club World because I play there as well, & the same rule applies. Maximum win per paid spin is 50,000 X line bet. If you bet $1.00, then that is 4 cents per line with 25 lines. 50,000 X 4 cents = $2,000.00. I have had this happen to me before, but that is the rule. Pull up a game & go to the help and rules. You will find this at the very end under other rules. It is the same at any real time gaming casino I believe.
Have a good day friends.

You are very welcome. Thanks for the caution for Tropica...
I have also been burned by a few rogue casinos in the past. It really pissed me off.

I think they do...but don't remember since I don't play there anymore.
I think they limit each deposit to maximum of $500 or $1000 but I'm sure the cashier will be glad to assist you...lol.

There also might be a monthly limit too...sorry, I don't remember.

Take care,

Still confused

Jerry ,
I have read your post as well as the others and am not sure what you mean
I admit sometimes I am slow to catch on
Are you talking bonus money that you are playing or free spins that they give you or is this a deposit that you made
Would you mind expanding on this a bit more:confused:

slowly getting there

slowly getting there

I'm slow too. What if you are playing at Club World and win the random jacpot for more than 4k??
Do you only get 2k then??

It is complicated, but all because at Tropica they have a lot of little clauses in their terms and conditions, it's hard to keep up with them. And it's not fun when you have to "tip toe" and keep up with each spin and how much you bet on each spin, etc. VERY nit picky.

For instance, if they give you a $25 chip (just because they love you), you can only cash out for 10x that amount or ( $250). But during that time, if you play a slot for more "per spin" than the T&C dictates, you violated your terms and forfeit any winnings.

Same thing if you take them up on any of their bonuses when you deposit $20 or more, you will get lots of money to "play with" but before you can withdraw, you have to "play thru" about $20,000! You are limited to the bet size too.
I had managed to get mine down to about a few thousand dollars and increased my bet to $10 per spin. However, that violated my terms because I was not allowed to bet $10 per spin. Another time, I didn't do a $10 spin, but I exceeded the "number of spins" I could play during the pay through. So it's crazy complicated and not very easy to win anything.

I tried cashing out finally after spending thousands of dollars, and they "lost" my withdrawal transaction. After finally speaking to the VP of operations, he decided he would "eat" the first $1000 he said must have gotten lost in cyberspace, and wire me another. Amazing how quickly I got that one after threatening him that I would report to Casinomeister and other affiliates if they didn't pay me.

That was the only bad casino I experienced... Club World, InetBet, etc ...all that GG sponsors, are great. That's why I only play those that are approved by GG because Greedy WILL go to bat for you if your complaint is legitimate.

But now that I've gone the bonus and free chip route, I have decided to skip all that and just deposit straight up with no chips and no bonuses. This way, I don't have to play through anything or risk "violating any terms and conditions" so what I win is MINE.

In answer to your question about Club World, or any other casino that GG sponsors and have random jackpots, if you are not playing a bonus, you will get paid all of it.
If you are playing a bonus, it will depend on how much play through you have remaining. It might vary with each casino, but I'm pretty sure, if you win a random jackpot, you will get all the random jackpot MINUS the bonus and any play through remaining.
Or they might ask that you finish playing through and then cash out and you'll get the balance of the random jackpot win.

Hope this helps and not confusing.

Ian Sims, aka 'Simmo' (one of the most knowledgeable AND ethical webmasters around...and a moderator at Casinomeister and great friend to GoneGambling) recently wrote an impressive article on this very subject. I'd encourage anyone playing online, to have a read on this.

I realize it's counter-intuitive with what we have going at GG, however, this is really important food for thought.

read article

read article

I read the article and this is exactly my feel on it as well
I quit taking bonus money a longtime ago and would not play at a casino
that auto added one and then would not allow it to be removed
I would suggest if you have been a long term player at a casino
to ask them to lower the WR on the bonus, on the deposit or on both
You have to ask before you start play on that deposit and bonus not after you start

Great article!

Great article!

That was a very good article and I urge all the GG members to read it.

I'm just curious about one thing...player FRAUD.

With all the terms and conditions at some of these rogue casinos and in general, how can any player commit fraud and actually get paid?

Maybe they are from NON- U.S. countries, but with the regulations currently in place and all the documentation and verification that must be provided before payment is made (of course, you have to WIN something first), how in the hell, can anyone steal money from these casinos?????

I have been guilty of trying to get "something for nothing" and what I thought was stretching my play time. It's true, it allows you to play longer, but you will very seldom finish the play through requirement before any winnings are gone. So you are basically paying the casino for giving you more playing time with "play" money.
I tried many methods; one consisted of spending days at 25 cents a spin to slowly try and complete my $10,000 play through requirement, but at that small amount, I could never hit a very big win.

The only way I beat this was by chance I hit a $5000 jackpot and with only $4000 left in my play through. I was able to cash out for $1000. But I had already lost about $3000 so Tropica still made good money on me.

I have to laugh as I still get email from them (even though I have "unsubscribed" 8 times over the past 3 months). Now they are offering a 1000 % bonus on a deposit. Imagine trying to complete a play through of 75x that amount!!

Take it from me, I have won big starting out with less than $5 so if it's your lucky day, it will happen without taking any bonus or FREE chips!
Play with your own and win with your own!

Have a lucky week!

Unfortunately, player fraud is quite a problem--much worse than you'd imagine. There are countless 'players' who make their livelihoods by getting over on the casinos and the impact is horrendous.

I can't get into particulars, as I don't want to be part of the problem, but what I CAN tell you is that player fraud can be anything from identity theft to manipulating bonuses chargebacks (particularly nasty). I hear about this on a daily basis from MANY casinos, all of whom have had to invest from hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to develop security teams. It's pretty sad, really.

I would love to tell you more, but again, giving out this sort of information only fuels those who would use it for good and not evil.

It doesn't matter if you make the deposit doc, the max rule applies on any one spin unless you hit the random jackpot. Then you receive the winnings like jimebeat was talking about. I have never hit a big random jackpot, but I have hit several small ones under 1,000.00
