What to click on to receive mail

Before this revamping of GG, a sign :)would flash up say you have got mail. Easy peasy. Now I have no idea if anybody has sent mail. Including people I have gifted - not sure if they are replying or just not replying. Heeelp. What should I click on to check if I have got mail.:wine:

I believe you would click on private messages up above right after where it says new post and below about GG
also right above by your user name it says notifications could be that
