Yes, I did lock myself away and go into hiding. My husband Joe was furious that Drunk Santa would not leave our home peacefully. He was furious that there was booze and vomit on the floors of nearly every room. He was furious that after knowing how Santa behaves every year, that I would allow him to stay with us for even five minutes.
So yes, once Joe dragged Santa outside, I locked the door behind the both of them. I couldn't bear to see Santa again and I couldn't bear to listen to Joe drone on and on and on.
Once the door was locked, I de-loused from the day and went to bed.
