The results of the Kidnapped Team Tournament are as I posted (Sorry Crazy Onions). Let me explain about why you see different final scores on the Closed Tournament page: At the tournament's end (when the system timer goes to zero) The winner list comes up on the tournament page. At that time I set in motion the system's tournament closing process that pays off the winners of the contest. If you were to refresh the tournament page as the clock-timer turns to zero you would see the the winners listed with their final scores and placings. I do not change anything, it is the GG system that lists the winners. Here is a screenshot I took of the end of the tournament in question (notice the timer says the tournament ended 6 seconds ago): The page shows the results of the tournament immediately after it closes. But why does the 'Closed Tournaments' page show different scores sometimes? Here is why: The tourney system was set up by Jeff to allow players to continue spinning even after tournament's end, provided they were spinning at the time of closing and have spins left over to play the game with for a little while. Now with that in mind, say you are playing a heated tourney. During the final moments you are not watching the timer, you are too busy playing your spins as fast as you can trying to better your score. You do not know the tourney has ended and you continue to spin. You finally finish your spins and stop playing. You look at the 'Closed tournaments' page to check out how you did. You see your score put in 4th place... great! Then you go to see the Tournament Results posted in the forum. Huh? The Tournament results page reports that you are listed as 5th place? How come your are no longer in 4th place? Blame it on the system's tally counter. Now the strange thing is... the tally counter does not stop, and continues to add your score even after the tournament has ended and the winners have been paid. This tally counter is what makes the 'Closed Tournaments' page show false results. If you want to know the true final scores, be on the tournament's page when the timer counts down to zero then refresh the page... you will see the listing of the winners and their scores/plays come up. Another thing... The payment of winners must be done manually. The players who are allowed to contiue spinning after tourney's end could gain a better score on the tallyboard through their extended play. If manual payment was left for later the wrong players would end up getting paid. That is why I am onsite at the end of every tournament. Part of my job here at GG is to be there to watch the closing results and make sure winners get paid on the spot. Please let me know if you have any questions.
