She will always put it back in the fridge&nbsp;so it will be cold when we serve the turkey and dressing&nbsp;For 45 of those 47 years she has always forgot to get it out to serve until meal is nearly done &nbsp; It is tradition to not have it till late in the meal&nbsp;&nbsp; Our second one is with rolls she has always purchased rolls to heat and serve in these 45 of 47 years of marriage&nbsp;&nbsp; She buys them early in the month so we always are sure to have them on Thanksgiving&nbsp;She will put 4 packages of rolls in the oven about 15 minutes before the meal is served&nbsp;&nbsp; In 45 of those 47 years she has always forgotten them ,until someone says they smell something burning&nbsp;&nbsp; They are removed from the oven and are always in different states of burned.&nbsp; &nbsp; We usually get to eat the centers of them and that is it some can&#039;t be eaten at all&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; It is now the 47 the year of our Thanksgiving and she has purchased rolls again .Time will tell if this year will be the same&nbsp; &nbsp; or if tradition will be broken and a new era starts&nbsp;&nbsp; I think the kids and relatives come just to see if it happens again each year &nbsp;&nbsp; Now not to brag but the wife can cook as good a Thanksgiving meal as anybody and everyone enjoys her food.&nbsp; &nbsp; Her turkey is always moist and juicy she makes two different cornbread dressings one with and one without onions&nbsp; &nbsp; Scratch giblet gravy that makes your eyes roll back it is so good&nbsp;When it comes to the rolls though she is dead last but then again it is tradition and we all look forward to her burned rolls&nbsp; There will be roughly 50 to 60 people eating at our table this year&nbsp;&nbsp; We save all year for this and Christmas Dinner and each year it seems to grow&nbsp; as more relatives and friends hear what a &nbsp;&nbsp; great time we have and then call to come join in. Most just do not believe the roll story and come to see &nbsp;&nbsp; Share your tradition if you will</blockquote>
