I go through life just trying to keep up with everything I need to do (my life is a bit hectic, to say the least). Much of the time, I couldn't tell you what day of the week it is, let alone what the date is. Today, I was out with my husband having a bite for lunch, when he asked me when I would begin baking for the holidays. I told him, 'I dunno--maybe Thursday or Friday.'
Joe looked a bit puzzled by this and I asked why?
"Deb - you DO realize Christmas is a week from Monday, right?"
Crap.
No. I thought I had another week.
Panic has now set in, as I've done absolutely NOTHING for the big day. Not one little iota of shopping... no baking... no letters to Santa. Nada. Zip. Zilch.
At least I've remembered our members each day with GoneGambling's Twelve Days of Christmas!
