Need advise about some pests

Last weekend I started cleaning the carpets with the Bissell Carpet cleaner. After I cleaned the bedroom my fears were confirmed when I spotted carpet beetles popping up in the carpet. I had a feeling that something like that was happening from all the signs going on, little flying insects (That I first thought were termites), then started little black blotches in the carpet that would get bigger or multiply. I did some research and got some spray, but still had no proof that it was carpet beetles until I cleaned the carper. There I was sitting at the computer staring at the wonderful job I did on what I believe was the cleanest carper ever. But as I kept looking down at the carpet, I began to see little black dots appearing out of nowhere, and as I continued looking I started seeing more. But when I took a closer look, I couldn't see anything, so I just started chucking it up to either the drugs, or inhaling more fumes from the detergent I used and was imagining seeing dots. Everyone has been their one time or another, you look at something and see dots through your eyes. Well it wasn't, since my carpet was clean, I was able to see the beetles, before they were hiding underneath all the dirt in the carpet. I've been researching on how to get rid of them, but it's taking longer than expected.

I hope someone here in the forum would be able to provide some advise on how to get rid of them. I thought about blowing up the entire complex, or just take lessons from Baltimore and set it on fire, lol.

Oh man, I know I would flip out. I would tear out the carpet and start over. Get a professional in there to make sure its gone. Isnt beatles a nice name for cockroaches? Holy cow thinking about it I would move. I am going to look for a conversation I once had with Greg ( cz) I gotta find it first!

This was a conversation I had many years ago hes now 16 going on 30 so that tells you how long ago it was.
